Haha, seriously though.....I just purchased a 1993 Fleetwood Southwind and realized a couple of weeks in that I bit off more than I can chew! Well, the ceiling air conditioners have not worked, except one time briefly, the 12 volt outlets or fridge also are not working. Some of the ceiling lights work. I ended up buying two new batteries, and that made what was already working work better, but I have yet to figure out the true issue. I've checked various fuses, did manage to get the generator going, but even that PLUS plugging in the power cord to my shed outlet hasn't made the difference. I heard it could be the power inverter not switching properly, but I have yet to locate it! Now, for the first time, after being plugged into the shed outlet, the RV won't even start. I feel so silly, but I am at a loss, and the soonest I can get this in to be checked out is August 24th, which means no summer trips, plus now I'm not even sure I can drive the thing out to the shop then. Help!! Anyone. Haha. Please and thank you.

    Sincerely, Elisa

YES, IT IS MORE THAN THE AVERAGE PERSON CAN PUT UP WITH. WE MAKE A LIST THEN TAKE OUR SOUTHWIND BACK TO THE FLEETWOOD DEALER WHICH IS 120 MILES AWAY FROM OUR HOME. WE USUALLY LEAVE IT THERE DURING THE SLOW TIME OF THE YEAR FOR THEIR SERVICE DEPT. TO DO THE WORK WITHOUT BEING RUSHED. I KNOW IT COST MORE TO HAVE THE AUTHORIZED DEALER FIX EVERYTHING BUT HAVING A GOOD MOTORHOME COST MONEY . GOOD LUCK AND BE CSREFULL.

We need to start with some back and forth conversation.  Because there are too many missing details to help you effectively.  Look me up in the members directory and give me a ring.

my first question is what kind of outlet do you have in your shed?  Household 110v, or a 30 amp, or something else?
