The Owner's manual for my 1997 Flair is nearly useless. I'd love to find a service and parts manual but I've been unsuccessful so far.. Thanks a lot...

On the Fleetwood site there is link to manuals under the Owners drop down.  You should be able to access your manual there.  Other wise you might search on eBay.

Try here.  Since you didn't include the make and model of your RV, you'll need to dig in a bit deeper.

+-Yes, I've seen these manuals already but the data in them is inadequate. I had a problem with the jacks and a nice guy on this site helped me but the user manuals don't even mention how to maintain the system. The owners manual seems to me like a place to see what the areas of the RV are for but nothing about maintenance or repair. Like the air suspension has nothing in the owners manual so I have no idea how much air pressure should be in them. For a 1997 I need a service manual and parts manual so I can maintain my machine instead of paying someone else to do it.

It seems I can always get help here and I am very thankful but no original documentation came with my RV so I'm always asking myself questions and no docs to answer them.

Thank you very much for all of your help... :-)

Yep, thank you... I've been there but the owners manual does not cover maintenance or troubleshooting.

It's really a service manual I need, I have the downloaded owners manual but it does not cover maintenance or parts or troubleshooting subsystems..

    Thank you..

John, this probably won’t make you feel any better.   I have all the manuals that came with my coach.
many of them are installation and use manuals for each individual third party component plus two large manuals for the chassis and Fleetwood.  They do not contain the information you are looking for.

Just like cars come with owners manuals, not service manuals.  The nitty gritty service aspects of your coach were not part of the documentation.

On the bright side, you have the years of experience available to you in this forum and on Facebook.

You're better off going to the Manufacturer of the product you want the manual for.  They probably will get you more technical info.

I had to go to Lippert to find out how to callibrate the jacks

When I called Spartan about my air bags, he told me that he could answer all the questions below the line, the line being the chassis and the rooms. Try talking to whoever built your chassis and maybe they can tell you who built your jacks.
