    Hello Group.

I've learned that to improve handling ( especially during high winds ) many people have installed something called " front  sway bar " . I was searching for this bar and couldn't find one which will fit 2017 Fleetwood Pace Arrow 38K LXE.

Can you please provide assistance to source one? Maybe web site and model number ?

    I'd really appreciate it.

    Thank you in advance

    Mario Bielawski

Safetsteer.com although the configuration tool often doesn't list a model a call to them generally solves the problem.

I had this product installed on my 2020 Fleetwood Fortis. It made a great improvement in the handling. I was very displeased with the F-53 Ford chassis. It would think Fleetwood would address this issue.

After purchasing a pre-owned 2014 Bounder in 2015, a yr into driving it, hubby took it to a bige truck repair shop bc of sway. They replaced shocks w better ones, and installed sway bar.  What a difference..amazing ride now

A 2017 PA 38K LXE is a nice diesel RV on a Freightliner Chassis.  This takes the BLUE Safe-T-Plus bar.  And the drive difference is night and day.  I know because I have one on my Pace Arrow.  No white knuckle cramps from death gripping the steering wheel any more.  18 wheelers blow past us in either direction and we don't even notice them.  Nor are we seriously affected by cross winds in open areas of the road.    All that plus the knowledge I'll probably live through a front driver side blowout because of this bar make it a worthwhile addition.

Watch this video:  https://youtu.be/1hIirmHnEVc  then decide for yourself.

Thank you Pete. From what I saw I love the Safe-T-Plus. I was going to order this unit but was asked what mounting hardware I want to order . From the table I got from Safe-T-Plus web site I got:

Pace Arrow2018 Freightliner XCS 41-230 F-143K2 (Tie Rod Dia.?).

The problem is that Freightliner does't know the diameter of Rod Tie and also advised me that my chassis ( based on the ViN ) is XCM and not XCS. I'd like to avoind traveling from Michigan to Atlanta at this time and would like to have it installed locally. If anyone knows diameter of the rod for 2017 Pace Arrow 38K LXE and /or mounting hardware part please let me know  , Thank you !

Don’t make life so difficult for yourself. There are times when the phone is your friend.  Just call them!

these are great people and can probably answer your questions help you select the right hardware, and tell you about any discounts or where to take your rig for an expert install.  Heck, they may have an installer with parts on hand where you don’t even need to order parts.

let us know how it turns out.
