Barb and I are new to RVing and to FMA.  We bought our 2000 Southwind 32V last September,  Joined FMA today, so how's that for new.  I expect you might see us at the rally in June.  Sounds like a fun event.  Like someone else posted, we are also on a learning curve and the rally seems like a really good way to grow.  Hope to be active participants. Looking forward to meeting other RV enthusiasts.

We've attended several RV shows since purchasing our motorhome and after touring lots of other RVs Barb has concluded that she likes ourRV the best.  Hmmm .... what does that say about Fleetwood.  I think we made the right choice.

    Safe Journeys,
    Larry

We are also new members as of today. We just purchased a 2007 Southwind 37C. We picked it up May 22, 2014 and left with it the next day for a long weekend at Camp Hatteras, NC. Had a wonderful time and am so excited for our upgrade from a 1998 Allegro M-31. Hope to be able to join in all of the events in the future.

Welcome to the "family"!  We had an '05 Southwind 37C. LOVED the floor plan and miss it to this day. Now have a Providence 39S. Love the diesel and the "stuff" that came with the upgrade but there are things that will never match the Southwind...  Memories!

We just took delivery of our 2015 Bounder 35K from Holiday World in Houston Texas, .and decided to join the FMA. Are there any local chapters in the Houston area? My wife is Jackie and we are not newbies to RV ownership but we have not been participants in any rallies. I have been a drag racer for most of my adult life and use the coach to pull the race car trailer to the events we attend. This is our fifth RV and by far the nicest and most luxurious so far. We are very pleased with the amenities the coach has to offer. We are both planning to retire within the next ten years and are interested in pursuing the RV lifestyle when that time comes. Living on the Texas gulf coast puts us a long way from any of the planned gatherings I have seen on this website

We are first time RV OWNERS (1999 Pace Arrow Vision) and procured this unit not just for fun but recent work requirements will require me to be out of town and I didn't want a hotel or apartment to pay for. I'm still on the big learning curve, making sure everything is up to snuff, services properly & in top working condition. Low mileage and well cared for and felt this model would be a could stepping block if we consider to continue as we approach retirement.

I am also looking forward to meeting others with more experience to learn from and get guidance on the do's and don'ts. Especially on how much I can do for myself on the MotorHome & what really needs to be done by a dealership. Can't wait to get started!

My wife and I picked up our new Bounder 35K on 2-13-15 and are anxious for the snow and extremely cold weather  to end.  Looking forward  to crossing paths with Bounder owners down the road.
