Electric Step Issue

    Has anyone ever rewired the magnetic switch near the bottom of the coach door and do they have any tips on the path it takes? 2000 Fleetwood Discovery

    John,

    Not sure of the path, but when I replaced the one on our old 40X the wires just tucked into the frame. A standard alarm contact you can find on Amazon worked great.

    Thanks Bill. Tomorrow I plan on digging into it. The wiring is frayed and causing intermittent step function. Sometimes it won't extend and sometimes it won't retract.
