Date of manufacture

    Hello everyone, newbie here.…

    I am in the process of registering my 1997 Flair 27r in the uk but I need to prove it’s date of manufacture either with original document or a letter stating it from an owners club, so here I am! 
    if I send the VIN and federal tag is some one ( I assume admin?) on here able to offer me this service? Happy to pay for the time taken of course.

    hopefuly then we can finally get on the road and take my family out for some vacation time as planned

    Hi Alan.  It's doubtful that you will be able to obtain a paper document of the date of manufacture.

    In later years, there is a placard behind the driver seat that I've seen contain that info.  Don't know if your year model has that.  If it does, maybe a photo to your agency would suffice.

    I have a state certification tag, but believe it or not that isn’t a guaranteed acceptance but a simple letter from the owners club is considered reliable so I am hoping one of the admin on here can help me out. It is just a letter stating the vin and the manufacturing date with the club logo etc - I can even write it if someone isn’t happy to help from the club.

    I have called the club twice and left messages but no reply as yet?
