Basement Heater

Hello I have a 2020 LXE.  Since it’s supposed to be 9° in the morning on Tuesday I figured this is as good a time as any to begin worrying about my basement heater!  Interestingly enough I could not find any information in the owners manual regarding its operation.  I can feel the warm fluid from the aqua hot entering the heater but it never turns on. That is when I noticed that the electric wires coming from it do not connect to anything.  The closest connection is one that says “FRSH WTR COZY” whatever that means.  Am I supposed to plug it into this cable?  Why would it not have been plugged in in the first place?  Also, there does not seem to be any thermostat or control on the heater itself.  How does it work?  Does it only work when the inside aqua hot heater is blowing?  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes that COZY is your water bay heater. Not sure why it was not plugged in but connect it and you will be good to go.

We have a 2021 LXE 40M. To make sure the basement heater is on, you need to select Aqua Hot Diesel, and turn on Rear Zone heat. The basement thermostat is set at 40 degrees and this keeps the plumbing for freezing up. The rear heat zone controls the basement heat  hope this helps
