I have a 1999 American Eagle and the excessive slope light and the leveling indicator lights do not reflect reality.   The excessive slope light in always on and the front and left side indicator lights stay on when the coach is leveled.  I contacted LCI (who now owns Power Gear) and they sent me a procedure (turn the system on, push the front button 5 times and then the rear button 5 times to put the system into recalibration mode) but that does not work.  So, does any know how to get the Power Gear 500105 (1999) system into recalibration mode?

You might try contacting Fleetwood in Decatur, the technicians there can probably get you the right information. Lipert probably sent you the instructions for the newer system.260-728-4773

Does anyone else have any idea how to reset the zero point on 1999 American Eagle?  Fleetwood tech support could not help and Lippert Components was also no help.

After pushing the Front button 5 times, then the Rear button 5 times, all lights will flash  Then push the All Jacks Retract button 3 times and all lights will stop flashing except two  when those stop flashing (could take up to 20 seconds) your system's zero point is now recalibrated to however your coach is sitting so make sure its level before recalibration.
