My wife and I bought an 08 Pace Arrow 36d in June of 2019. We were concerned about the noise that the Vacuflush pump made. It was actually loud enough to disturb the neighbors in our RV park. Out of ignorance and being in a hurry to leave for our fulltime rv experience, I took the Rv to one of our local dealers and asked them to rebuild the pump with a "Whisper conversion" that I found on line. After a week and $900 later the pump sounded only slightly better. We love our coach, but are concerned about living with the Vacuflush system. My questions are: 1. Are there any tricks to keeping it working and sounding properly?  2. Is Fleetwood still using this system in their new coaches?  3.  Am I missing something by questioning why they would?

We have a 2016 Bounder 35K and have that issue once and a great while.  I just use a toilet brush and it is fine after that.
