The seals attach to the door when closed for a long time. Once you get it open, spray some silicone lubricant on a rag and wipe the seal. I do that about every 6 months and it stops the problem you are having. First time I had to get mine open I had to keep pressure on the latch for about an hour an finally it opened. I used a ratchet strap with LIGHT tension and just left it, adding a click to the ratchet after about 30 minutes. I know folks have used a screwdriver to pry it open, but the chance of chipping the paint is high.

OUR 2019 SOUTHWIND HAD THE SAME PROBLEM SO WE KEPT TAPPING ON THE OUTSIDE EDGE OF THE DOOR UNTIL IT LET GO. YES, THE SILICONE SPRAY HELPS ALSO. I HAVE  FOR YOU. DID YOU ORDER OR RECEIVE THE OPTIONAL  $3000 UP GRADE ELECTRONIC PACKAGE EHICH INCLUDED EXTRA SPEAKERS AND TOTAL SOUND SYSTEM?  ONE MORE ITEM IS WE HAD TO HAVE THE ACCELERATOR PEDAL ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLY UNDER WARRANTY . THE COACH WOULD LOSE POWER MOSTLY UNDER MILD ACCELERATION AND SOMETIMES WHILE CLIMBING HILLS! IT WAS DANGEROUS BUT NOW OK!

HAPPY NEW YEAR GREG: SURE HAPPY YOU GOT IT TO OPEN! NOW  A QUESTION FOR YOU. I AM TRYING TO FIND OUT IF AND HOW YOUR OUTSIDE TV PULLS OUT AND TILTS ON THE MOUNTING BRACKET? AND IF YOU HAD ANY PROBLEM WITH THE TWO OUTSIDE SPEAKERS THAT WORK WITH THE OUTSIDE RADIO. OUR RADIO SEEMS TO BE WORKING AS INDICATED BY THER REMOVAL FACE SCREEN BUT NO SOUND FROM IT?  THANK YOU .
