We have a 2011 Southwind 32V in for alignment and we were discussing driving issues with the shop. They recommend a "Safe-T-Plus" for the front and a new or additional sway bar on the rear. Anyone have any thoughts about this ???

I would recommend both based on personal experience (with and without them on two motorhomes), but like anything else it depends on your own situation and comfort.  I would suggest watching the videos on the Saf-T-Plus website regarding what happens when tires blow out and how steering stabilizers help.  I can tell you that the handling of our 36’ Storm is excellent now.  We just spent a number of weeks in the west on I-40 and can tell you that the wind was horrendous, and while other large motorhomes and some trucks looked like they were being blown around ours was pretty stable.  Also helps significantly with passing trucks buffeting the rig.  The money spent has saved me tons in worry and ‘white knuckle’ experiences.

    Dennis:

I am in agreement with the Safe T Plus add! As for the rear of your coach, consider adding Trac Bar first Supersteer parts has a website that you can look at for you GVW. You can look on the web as well as talk with your shop as to what it does. Essentially it locks the rear axle and springs from making small lateral movements which can be exaggerated up to the steering wheel as sway. In my own experience and on my coach it resolved my problems enough that I did not go further with more sway bar adds.                      Safe Travels!

Just a follow up on this. I had both installed and it drives like a dream, money well spent
