When the grand-kids use the bunk bed over the driver's seat the light switch on the roof  doesn't come on. Is there a way to get it to come on?

    Thanks, John

On our Storm 34D/36D, the bunk light switch(es) need to be on and the bunk needs to be fully lowered in order for the lights to come on.  When the bunk begins to be raised, the lights will extinguish.  I don’t know where the master switch is that controls all of that, but it doesn’t look like it is within any of the four rails/tracks that the bunk rides in.  It is possibly located in the compartment that houses the motor and manual control in the upper left corner of the drivers side overhead shelving unit.

Thank you for the reply. I've been bringing the bunk bed down until the cabinets that are built underneath are almost touching the dash.

It took me a month or so to figure out this problem in our Bounder. don't know it yours is same but I will pass it on as it is not intuitive IMHO!

It started out with me trying to turn on the lights in the base of the bed over the captains chairs!  When I brought the bed down there was a light switch accessible from the bed, but it only tuned on the lights in the ceiling over the bed.

Eventually I noted in a row of switched down a floor level at the entry door there was a switch marked ceiling light!  When the bed is up it turns on the lights in the base of the bed.  If you lower the bed those lights turn off and the ceiling lights come on and can be controlled by the switch accessible from the bed!

You may have a ceiling light switch somewhere you have not yet noted!  Good luck!
