Greetings.  We purchased our Fleetwood Storm about a year ago and really like it, overall (2017 model).  Our main focus was the bunkhouse layout, as we wanted to bring along our daughter and grand daughter on our trips while we could.  Aside from the unfortunate ‘normal’ issues that required warranty repairs and non warranty additions we had one interesting issue that I wanted to share in case someone down the road is looking for this info.....

The designation of our Storm is 34D.  Says so right on the side of the rig.  If anyone tries to find out any info about this model (34D) they won’t get very far.  The 34D model is the exact same product as the 36D in all regards.  Apparently, REV/Fleetwood started making this model (34D) in 2017 and very quickly (about a month or so later) changed the designation to 36D.  All literature is geared towards the 36D model.  My guess is that someone screwed up in the initial designation.  The rig is 36 ft long and it probably should have been designated 36D right from the start.

REV wasn’t very forthcoming about the reasons behind all of this and when I initially inquired about it they weren’t sure what I was talking about.  I had to give them the VIN number and Fleetwood Number and they said, ‘Um, wow...yep, you have a 34D’. They did some internal research and asked a number of folks internally and simply responded that the 34D and 36D are identical and they changed the designation about a month or so into production......no explanation beyond that.  Anyway, if you are searching the internet trying to find out anything regarding a Storm 34D, I hope you found this post.

    Best,

Hey, maybe you have a collector's item, you know like a misprinted stamp!

Yup, certainly unique, but I doubt it would add any value.  If anything it might detract since there is little to no info available for potential buyers.
