I have a 2001 Fleetwood Expedition 36t. My living room slideout will go out with switch but will not come back in . Wondering if anyone had this problem what did you do to correct it. Thanks

    Dennis,

Since the motor is opening the slide, it generally eliminates the motor as the problem. The motors work by reversing polarity to change direction. Not being there I can only offer a thought. I would suspect the switch is bad, something you can check easily with a multi-meter, since it is the way voltage is reversed to the motor.

Thanks Bill for the reply .Tested the switch and switch is okay.  Think there is a connection problem between the switch and motor .Will test that next .and will let you know

I am having same problem with bedroom slide on '02 Revolution.  Slide will not come back in.  It still will bump out but nothing coming back in. Tried switching wires on switch.  It will still bump out when I press retrack but nothing when I push extend.  Does not appear to be switch or fuse.  Does anyone have any ideas?  Currently stranded at Flying J in St George SC.

When a slide won't come back in, 1 of the first things I'd try is having someone hold the switch and try giving it a little push from the outside. I've seen a number of times the tracks were not lubricated very well and the slide needs a bit of help to get moving. Just went through that with a friends 2003 Discovery. After we managed to get it closed and back home he lubricated things well and it's continued to work.
