I  need help.  We just sold our home and will be full time living in our 2007 Fleetwood, Terra.   We use to put our car on a tow dolly but it is

Approved to tow flat and I don't know where I can take my car.   Please help.

I took my CRV to camping world and they sold and installed the tow rig in the car. It needs to coordinate with the tow bar and hitch on your RV and they can help you with that plus supplemental brakes.

I also went to Camping world, get a baseplate for the car, and a tow bar ( I use Blue Ox on two cars and like it. The light systems must be wired with a diode, also part of the tow package.

The whole thing will set u back about 2500.00

U will also need a supplemental braking system, like brake buddy, etc. Another 800.00-1200.00

You can go to Motorhomemagazine.com and they publish an annual dinghy manual that will explain any other steps necessary to tow your car.

I just received the base plate kit for my 2003 Honda CRV. I will install it this weekend. It cost $350.00.You could  order the unit for you car, and have your mechanic install it, or take it to a U-Haul dealer. Its not a hard installation. I installed one on a 1998 Saturn, and towed it  25,000 miles in 11 years without problems. Eddie Elk.

We have towed our 2013 Honda CRV over 30k miles.  An important issue noted in the manual, is to pull the fuse for the auxiliary power in the car.  If you don't you will drain the battery while towing.  I bot a rocker switch that has a slide in end for both sides of the fuse (#19), and mounted the switch on the dash.  It works perfectly (is you turn it off before you tow...LOL)
