Onan generator on 2007 Pace Arrow

We are having trouble keeping our generator running for more than a few minutes. It starts well enough, but quits after a short time. It's a gasser and the tank is full. This problem started when our son was on a trip with the RV and used the generator a lot. I had it serviced in August before we left on a trip. I don't think I used the generator at all during that time. I run it each month under load. He did an internet search and found that it could be the low oil pressure switch. I have found a couple of these switches on Amazon. They are different prices and different serial numbers. Must be for different generators - duh.

Any suggestions as to what might be the problem other than low oil or a low oil pressure switch?

We have a 2008 Pace Arrow that had the exact same problem. Took it to our local dealer that has a good repair facility . They determined we needed a new fuel pump for the generator. This was about 1 1/2 years ago, haven't had a problem since. There are probably other things that could cause the same condition but this is what fixed ours. Good luck

I am havving the same problem as the original poster has and as you had. It would not stay on while parked and stable or while it was on the road to the next location to keep the cabin AC on. A mechanic pushed the fuel injecter button (I cannot think of the correct name.,..) OH the "primer" button and then boom it was working...........until it just stopped working again...
