Asked about that at a factory tour. Tour guide said Fleetwood didn't put the typical supporting structure under the rear cap for a ladder and they don't recommend putting one on. Claimed it was cost cutting. I bought a collapsing 16 foot ladder to get to my roof and as long as I let it rest on the gutter vs roof it works fine. It does take up basement storage space and it requires some unloading to get it in and out but I don't go up there that often for that to be an issue.
