I would suggest contacting Fleetwood and take it to Decatur. Your dealer may be able to  make the adjustment but Decatur is probably be your best bet. Being your coach is a 2018 this should be covered under warranty. I would also have them replace the damaged tile. If you are a member of DOAI Discovery Owners Association, you can ask for advice on the forum. Good Luck. Let us know how things work out.

    Hi,

I had the exact issues with a 2015 Southwinds. I believe Fleetwood knows this is an issue on many of their RV's and have not been able to fix. The fix we did trimmed off some of the top frame and changed the rollers. The dealer also adjust the timing of the slide. I also have floor protectors I put down every time I bring the slide in. Just 4 foot long very thin plastic sheets. I still have some dented tile. I also have a spare box of title. I will get changed next time RV is in for service. I do not have the pop anymore but the rollers still dent the title but the protectors now work well.

You may also get the systemic problem of many Fleetwood front A/C having trouble with the front sensor having issues with measuring the correct temperature causing issues with the regulation of AC and heat. I have seen many posting. I think it is another Fleetwood problem. I changed the sensor (eight bucks) and relocated to try and get a better measurement

It took me 18 months to work out all my issues on the Southwinds now headed to pick up my new Discovery LXE - more pain

My advise stay at it and be a pain to your dealer and Fleetwood getting it fixed as the warranty period goes by fast.

    Hi Dennis,

This sounds like what the previous owner of my coach had happen to him. I’ll quote from the maintenance records he left with the coach as I have no personal experience with the issue. From the Lazy Days invoice of 12/14/2011:

“Recall-Warranty Check – Slide outs marking up floors dragging/ black will not come off floor

Correction – Found floor coming apart under room. Removed sofa dinette table, pulled back carpet. Drilled hole & installed T nut on bottom side & found do to floor pulled apart, bolt too short. Had to install longer bolts & swap out after floor pulled up to it. Reinstalled all items removed. Floor tiles had rub marks that I could not clean off.”

This seems to be a common issue in some coaches. A simple t-nut can fix it if your issue is the same as mine was.

Another poster in a different forum said that Fleetwood "have a Kit (#406190) which is  a T-nut design ($24.00)." You could check with Fleetwood customer service.

We had the loud pop when retracting the galley slide and the dealer could not fix it so I took it to Alvarado and they had it fixed shortly. They said that it was something that wasn't done right at the factory. They have since closed Alvarado, so you will probably have to go to Decatur or Coburg, Oregon. Now my Galley slide will only go out about half way. I found out from REV tech support how to override and he told me that I would have to take it in to have the limits reset. I am extremely disappointed with the quality of our 2018 Bounder and the lack of service from our dealer.
