We have a 2006 Fleetwood Storm MH, it is great.  One problem is that there seems to be a battery drain when motorhome is off and just sitting.  Upon  parking the MH and plugging power in,  both indicator lights for the main battery and the auxiliary battery are indicating all batteries have power.  Both battery systems  are showing bright  red on the control board.  Over a few days the main battery light starts to dim and eventually goes out, but the  auxiliary battery stays bright.   When  the main battery light dims/goes out  the gas leak indicator unit which was showing green –meaning operating properly, now  is showing red-low voltage.  It also emits a piercing noise which I assume is what it is supposed to do.

I have checked throught camper to make sure nothing was left on.  Pulled the plug for the microwave.  But everything else, as far as I could see was off.  Also, all my batteries are only 2 years old.

FWIW, we had a problem with our 2016 Southwind with the gas detector.
I removed it, contacted the shop and asked about it.

They asked what year was stamped on the unit and then said it needed to be replaced.

Bought one online and with a couple of butt connectors and a couple of minutes time it was replaced. 

This may be the same problem your experiencing.

When a coach is sitting there is a continued draw on your batteries from the CO2 Detector, Propane Detector, Internal Clock on the Radio, and possibly even the Booster on the TV Antenna.

By turning off the 2 battery switches and the Inverter Switch, you are stopping any current draw and saving your batteries.

You may also want to check the water level in you batteries to ensure they are topped up.

We had an issue with a 2 year old CO2 Detector going off. During a service visit to Fleetwood in Decatur, their Tech stated that a specific model was no longer being used because of issues.

A new hard wired detector solved my problem.
