We have a 2008 Pace Arrow and our cruise control quit working due to a short in the wiring of the cable between the motor home and tow vehicle. Caused the brake lights to quit working also. This caused the 20 amp fuse for the cruise control to blow. This fuse was located in the panel under the hood. Hope this helps. 

Was it raining or the roads wet when your cruise was not working? We have had a lot of water issues with our 2015 Excursion 33d. We have had intermittent electrical issues where lights, cruise and turn signals, defroster have failed at times. No good answer as to why.

I have the same problem with my Fleetwood Bounder 36S Turbo Diesel. Just stopped in the middle of camping trip. I had the flashers on because of slow down in construction. They stopped too. They started working again but have not been back on the road again. I'll let you know if I figure this out

As with all vehicles, RV's included, the brake lights must be working before the cruise control will work.  Double check the fuses and have someone actually verify the brake lights comes on.
