I spent the extra money and got TruCenter from Blue Ox. The Blue Ox tow bar is excellent so I figured the TruCenter would be also. Blue Ox customer service has been great. Enough of a commercial for Blue Ox. I have notice my 2015 Fleetwood 34A drives straighter with less movement and less steering input. In a crosswind you can reset center and the RV will stay straight without much steering wheel input. I had my dealer install as I want to make sure it tracked aligned. I feel safer in a blow out I will get help.

We installed the Steer Safe system about a year ago on our '13 Bounder 35K.  We both drive and have both found much less push and pull from other vehicles. The effects of wind have also been reduced.  I wanted the system more for help with a possible tire blow out but love the other benefits as well.

Why is the customer responsible for solving this obvious systemic problem. I can tell you that my first experience in driving the 35K on the interstate was frightening.  After only about 100 miles my hands were sour and most of the items in the coach had crashed out of the cabinets.  My wife was screaming and I was totally confused.  This coach is a safety risk---period.  I have tried many different things including shiftring the weight around and slowing down drastically.  Nothing works, this couch is unstable and willl kill someone.   I am also sure that Fleetwood will deny all of this and Ford will say it is Fleetwood's fault.  I have also read how owners have spent their own money to try and fix this issue.  Most say that it did not work, but some say they feel better about it.  What is being done to keep us safe?

I also have a blue ox for steering and center in cross winds. I also have Tryon band on the front rim in case of a blow out.. I have the f-53 chassis and move the pins to get improve wandering. My 2015 Southwinds tracks good even with truck pushing me on the interstates.

This should be Fleetwod's responsibility.  Ford builds and sets the chassis up for middle of the road performance. Ford doesn't know what the end user motorhome manufacture is going to put on the chassis. The F53 is used by many different manufactures of motorhomes.  For Ford to know all the different configurations would be impossible.

Hi I bought the TruCenter and SumoSprings airless airbags and all white knuckles are gone Total cost was about $3500.00 including installation. I also moved the pins in both the front and the back - many posts on the F53 chassis on how and why. I would also check the rear sway bar on torque-bolts.

We purchased a 1988-89 Tioga 27' used a couple weeks ago, this thing wanders all over the road all front end components are fine alignment toe is fine tires are new.  Have tried to find steering stabilizer kit appears that no one makes it either any longer or not at all.

If anyone has ideas or knowledge of this problem please help out will thank you many times over.

Have a 2015 Bounder 35K.  It now has 23000+ miles on it.  traveled through the Rocky Mts and the hills of West, By God, Virginia.  Yes, i get pushed a little bit from a semi passing.  The wind can move me a bit, but I have never felt to be out of control.  Nor, have I felt exhausted, from a 500 mile day on the road. I am 78 years old, with two bad shoulders from taking hockey hits on the boards.  Yes, you are not driving a sedan.  This is a big rig and need to treat it as such.
