I have joined, and so far, all I have seen of FMA is the dozen or so topics on the Left side of the page. surely this is not all there is to FMA. If so, I feel left out, especially $20 left out.

No, this is not all there is to FMA. This website s a good way to get information and participate with others in the forum about topics of mutual interest. One of the major attributes of FMA is the ability to get together with other Fleetwood owners to create new frendships and generally just have a good time. This is done through the various rallies that occur throughout the year. Go to the "Events" secton to find out about these rallies. The next one is the National Rally and will be in Pueblo, CO this year the first part of August. Hope to see you there.

The value of rallies can’t be over-emphasized. Yes, you meet some wonderful people and have a great time, but the greatest benefit is learning. The ten pounds of component and system manuals that come with a motorhome are a great reference but they don’t put things into the context of the everyday RV lifestyle. We had our 2006 Discovery less than a year when we went to our first rally last year. We learned how to get more out of our coach more by talking with other members than we did from the still valuable seminars. We had a problem with our Domenic frig. One of the other members said it was a high temp switch and it was on recall. We were able to get it fixed while at the rally at no cost! Think of tech issues you may have. Just post it on the forum. Someone has surely already “been there – done that” and can point you in the right direction to quicker and less costly solutions.

Welcome to FMA! We enjoy looking at the forum questions and answers about once a month. Altho several items do not relate to our rig it is still interesting to see what others are inquiring about. We enjoy the Rally's also and now that FMA has dues associated for membership we are becoming self sustaining. Great to have the rebate for the Rally's (National, Western & Eastern) as well so the $20 is returned by participation.

We are looking forward to the Pueblo, CO National Rally in August and have not made arrangements for the Rally (Eastern or Western Region) as yet since we have not decided on which direction to go for the winter.

Again, welcome to FMA and have safe travels!
