Illuma Plex issue

    Hello everyone. I’m reaching out because I’m having a problem with my Illuma Plex switches in the front of coach. I have a 2017 Bounder 36H. The other switches in the unit are working. The problem is the back light works on the panels but the individual functions don’t light blue or work. Every once in a while it comes back and functions. I have called precision circuits and they seem to think its a data cable problem. Any thoughts or has anyone had a similar problem. Thanks,

    Data cable problem, often means a poor connector. I would unplug the connector from the display and use an eraser on the connectors to clean anything that might be an issue. Often folks that are having issues find that plugging and unplugging a connector clears the problem. This type of problem has existed for years on the furnace and water heaters.

    Can you believe it, that did the trick. I disconnected the R11 cables and cleaned all connections with alcohol and Q tips. All is functioning normal. Thank you for the tip.

    Wait till you get the invoice for his vast knowledge.  You don't think they call him BILL for nothing, do you?

    Just kidding.  You may not get the over-abundance of fair-weather repair suggestions here, but you do get the advantage of years of experience.
